Digital transitions in education often come with uncertainty, fragmented information, and a high support load. At HOGENT, LearnWise AI support assistants have been introduced for both students and staff to address these challenges during the migration to a new learning environment, Brightspace.
In this presentation, we share our experiences of deploying AI-powered support during a large-scale educational change process. We demonstrate how AI support assistants contribute to efficient knowledge sharing and information access, discuss the lessons learned along the way, and explore our ongoing experiments with LearnWise Tutor for personalized learning support. The session offers practical insights and inspiration for educational institutions looking to leverage AI to make digital change easier, offer better support, and strengthen learning.
